Two months ~ Lots of Twos

June 7, 2015

Sorry. Lost my voice there for a while. May was a difficult month.

Looking back on the two months (April and May) since my departure from Japan I have done a lot of twos.

I've flown over two oceans,

Pacific and Atlantic

I've read two novels, Outlander books 3 and 4.

I've watched Game of Thrones, Seasons 1 & 2.

I've baked two treats,

Scones and Chocolate-chip cookies.

I've crocheted two blankets.

I share a flat with two flat-mates.

I've begun two important career opportunities.

I've begun a Masters of Education at Mount Marty College and I've begun work as a Preschool Teacher, both here in Yankton, SD.

Living in London for 20 days

Let's take a break and show you where I've been living.

I stay in a sweet flat in the parish of Fulham with my very kind Airbnb hose, AH.

Two of the pix are the views from my two bedroom windows.

It's a great neighborhood, safe, peaceful, easy access to buses and tube stations. The people are eclectic, like all of London seems to be. I get stopped almost daily in the street by people asking me directions to this or that pub, or which way is this or that shop.

It's only a 10 minute walk to the Thames and some nice parks and walkways.

London can be hustle and bustle, busy, crowded and noisy. It can also be people just peacefully living their lives with families, recreation, exercise, picnics and neighborhood living.
